Stansted Park Wedding Photographer – Anthony & Hayley

Ant and Hayley got married at the very attractive Stansted House in Rowlands Castle followed by a reception at the Merchistoun Hall in Horndean. Ant and Hayley had such an amazing wedding, I couldn’t wait to get these photos online. Ant, Hayley and all their family and friends are all a very welcoming lot and very easy to work with! The wedding ceremony contained helicopters, harpists and with the venue looking so beautiful made it a very posh and elegant event then at the reception it slowly turned into a massive rock party. The transition was awesome! At the wedding I was working along side some really friendly and professional people including a husband and wife videography team from “Emma Stock”, a very VERY talented magician, Ben Williams from “Unbelievable Magic”, a very tasty Ice Cream stand from Matt Beneci Ice Cream and last but not least the best live band act I’ve ever seen, The band is called The Indie Killers and I will be recommending them to every client who wants to rock out! Here are a few of my favorite photographs from their day. Enjoy Mr & Mrs White!

Havant Park Portrait Photographer – Caught in a Crossfire

Something a little different from what I usually post (I see a pattern emerging here) but I just wanted to introduce a band which I bumped into the other day, a band named “CAUGHT IN A CROSSFIRE”. Ben (the lead singer w/ the Blink 182 tattoo) is a very old friend of mine from secondary school and I just so happened to bump into him on Saturday and he was going to be on stage within the next few hours so I hung about until his band was on and took some snaps (considering I was free). They are a unsigned Alternative / Hardcore / Punk band and can be found on Facebook and Myspace. Enjoy.

Inspiration: Jose Villa

This is a bit different from the normal blog post but lately I’ve been reading the most amazing book and have to share it with everyone. As a photographer I have a lil’ library full of books that inspire me which after being read just get thrown in a box under my workstation, this book is not one of those books but a book that you want to keep on display along side your computer as I guarantee you will be looking at it again and again. It seem that every page and word that I’m slowly digesting is making my talent improve by milestones and with the mix of my nature and how I talk to my clients it seems to fit in perfectly and produce some amazing results. Allow me to introduce the author, a man (who really needs no introduction) Jose Villa, a Mexican wedding photographer who only in a few years has managed to completely conquer the American wedding photography industry using various films (yes that right… no digital photography here!) and his mighty Contax 645. The book “Fine Art Wedding Photography: How to Capture Images with Style for the Modern Bride” is a book so full of inspirational photographs from his previous weddings and details of how he took each photograph. There’s no holding back in this book he shares most of the industry secrets and tips. I brought the book through the iPad kindle app and I will defiantly buy a hard copy in the near future…
