Portsmouth Portrait Photographer – Robert & Sarah

Robert & Sarah are due to be married next week at John Pounds Church in Southsea and it looks to be such a gorgeous day and can’t wait to document it as I know there will be huge smiles on the day like what is reflected in their engagement portraits. Their session took place at Staunton Country Park (proving to be a popular location this year… and next) and I love photographing people there as I grew up around Havant and know allot of ‘secret’ areas in and around the park and have only used a handful of them so far. It was so easy to work with Rob and Sarah as they were smiling during the whole session which proved my “technique” to embarrass myself to make them laugh work even better then usual. Sarah and Robert brought both their children with them to have a handful of photographs with them as a family, Madison & Alfie were so well behaved, it was a pleasure to photograph them. Hope you enjoy these guys! and no crying Sarah… well, not till next week anyway.

Portsmouth Wedding Photographer – Jason & Violeta

Jason & Violeta’s wedding had a very warm and personal touch as they only had a very few guests and everything was handmade making the event very imaginative and resourceful. During the whole day everyone was very tearful as the lovely couple have been waiting for 3 years to get married but due to personal issues they have had to cancel their wedding twice, making this the 3rd time lucky! The couple got married in Portsmouth Registry Office and had a small meal in Southsea above Monks Bar at the Brasserie Restaurant (as number ’8 The Kings’ went into liquidation 2 days before their wedding!) followed by a few drinks downstairs with a couple of extra guests. It was nice to see allot of familiar faces at the wedding as I photographed Violeta’s mum & step-dads wedding in July 2010 at Oxford and also allot of work colleagues showed up to show their appreciation. I’ve known Violeta for a number of years now and would also like to congratulate her and Jason on there marriage to one-another. I hope you both love your photographs Mr and Mrs Holmes! It was a pleasure to photograph.
