Hello and welcome to A'OK Photography. I'm Antony Turner (the one in the middle) and I'm a Wedding and Portrait photographer with a difference. I consider myself a Photojournalist because I capture laughter, nervousness, tears and smiles through photojournalism which produces an honest and sincere reflection of YOU.

I exercise a very unique photojournalistic approach when photographing your wedding and because your wedding will be completely uninterrupted it allows us to beautifully document your wedding day in a style that results in a lovely visual story of the bride and grooms wedding day from start to finish.

I capture images quietly and without any fuss as possible making sure your day gets documented with out any interruptions. I create most images using natural light rather than flash and I do not use ridiculous arrays of lights, fake set pieces or forced poses and smiles.

I consider it to be Story telling and hopefully one day, I could tell yours...

Devere Hotel New Place Wedding Photographer – Tim & Janette

Tim and Janette got married at the gorgeous “De-Vere” New Place in Southampton. When we first arrived at the venue it looked like it was going to be an amazing day filled with sunshine then the weather app on my iPhone said rain!.. Soon enough those predictions came true during the preparations. Despite the rain throughout the day, It ended up resulting to a perfect and happy event. During the whole day, everywhere I turned, there where people with huge smiles on their faces! and as always I have to thank the couple for putting up an amazing 3 course meal for Me and Dan. “Thank You”. I just couldn’t wait to get these images onto my blog! From the moment I finished photographing the wedding at 10:00pm, I arrived straight back home and started editing these wedding photos about 10:45pm! I must be mad! Because of the rain and the very good friendship we have with Tim and Janette we will be back to the venue soon to photograph their portraits as we couldn’t really go outside that day and seems a shame to have such a beautiful venue without any shots outside. So far these are my favorite photographs of the day. Enjoy Mr & Mrs Robinson!

Southsea Beach Portrait Photographer – Tim & Janette

Well, this is my first post of 2011 and I can honestly say that this year is looking really promising! These stunning people are Tim and Janette (but she prefers “J”). Me and Tim go way back from the good ol’ geeky days of XBOX Live (man, I can’t believe I just admitted that). I was really shocked when he wanted me to photograph his wedding as we haven’t met in quite a few years but Tim’s one of these friends that you can start off from where you left off, no matter how long ago you ain’t seen each other for. I’m really looking forward to meeting some of the guests as-well because they are old friends also who I haven’t seen in years. Their wedding is due at the end of February at a gorgeous venue called ‘New Place’ in Southampton. I CAN’T WAIT! as I can already tell by the way they are talking about the wedding that its going to be a great event. Here are some pictures of the lovely couple. Enjoy!
