Wedding Photography Prices
This page is designed to help you, my visitor to know the “in’s and out’s” of how A’OK Photography works from wedding consultation to handing my clients the final product.
I photograph events as they happen and capture moments and everything between those moments which tells and leads up towards a story. I want people who are unable to attend your wedding to feel like they were there and to understand how the day was, and not how the photographer wanted the day to look. If a person who is unable to attend your wedding can tell the story of your day through photography then my clients (and guests) will definitely treasure them.
There will be no need to worry about asking me “if you have time…” because I will be there.
As you can probably already tell, the way I work is very relaxed. This (as I have been told many times before) settles the nerves of everyone around and lets everyone enjoy the big day. I have adapted my pricing packages to this philosophy as so many different wedding services can be very confusing and most “soon to be” bride and grooms have never had to look for wedding services in the past.
So I’ve make it my job to make your wedding plans less complicated by only offering (what I call) one price, one package with very clear instructions.
My ‘one price, one package’ contains the following:
* Unlimited wedding day coverage which covers from preparations, wedding ceremony and reception. I have never shot a wedding that was shorter than 10 hours and most of the real moments are happening when you least expect them.
* FREE Engagement portrait session which is generally photographed between one or two months prior to the wedding which allows you feel comfortable of being in-front of a camera and also gives you a taste of what to expect on the day.
* You will receive a DVD containing between 60-75 high-resolution professionally edited Engagement portrait images before the wedding day (the disc also includes low-resolution images for Facebook or Emails). Because clients receive these photographs before the wedding day, most use them within the wedding programs or as reception decoration.
* You will receive a DVD containing between 350-450 high-resolution professionally edited wedding images (the disc also includes low-resolution images for Facebook or Emails). Usually delivered between 2 and 4 weeks after the wedding.
* Digital License to print document which allows the DVD images to be printed at any printers.
* All clients receive an on-line password protected photo album which can be accessed through the website and then you are able to share this with all your friends and family.
For this I charge a total of £900 and a retainer fee of £200 is required on the signing of the contact, this guarantees your date and is also deducted from the total price. The remaining balance is required one month in advance of your wedding date.
Portrait Prices
I specialise in family, engagement and beloved portraits. I want your Portraits to be special, I don’t want them to be portraits that any other studio photographer can do.
The first question I ask my clients is “Name a place that is special to you?” because I want you to be somewhere where you feel comfortable and somewhere that makes you happy. My clients being happy and comfortable is one tiny part of how I create those natural smiles and laughter (also if you choose an engagement portrait session I want you to take me to a place that has a special meaning to your relationship).
What to wear I hear you say? This is entirely up-to you but I would avoid busy prints, or really bright colors, because your clothes will stand out in the portraits, not you.
I have two Portrait packages, Package 1 contains the following:
* 1 hours portrait session at selected location.
* You will receive a DVD containing between 20-30 high-resolution professionally edited portrait images (the disc also includes 20-30 low resolution images for Facebook or Emails).
* Digital License to print document which allows the DVD images to be printed at any printers.
* All clients receive an on-line password protected photo album which can be accessed through the website and then you are able to share this with all your friends and family.
For this I charge a total of £60, no retainer fee is required as the balance is required one month in advance of your portrait date.
Package 2 contains the following:
* 2 hours portrait session at selected location.
* You will receive a DVD containing between 40-50 high-resolution professionally edited portrait images (the disc also includes 40-50 lew resolution images for Facebook or Emails).
* Digital License to print document which allows the DVD images to be printed at any printers.
* All clients receive an on-line password protected photo album which can be accessed through the website and then you are able to share this with all your friends and family.
For this I charge a total of £75, no retainer fee is required as the balance is required one month in advance of your portrait date.
